Endura racking machines, air powered FasTrack machines are a must for any high volume parts finishing plant. The air powered FasTrack is ideal for customers using longer racks and racks with heavy gauge tension fingers. Endura is the only manufacturer of air powered racking and unracking machines which offers a wide range of features designed to enhance production efficiency.
Air powered FasTrack racking machines are available to handle 24", 36", 48" and 54" racks.
- Dramatically Reduces Racking and Unracking Labor Costs Racking Adjust FasTrack racking machines to support the single, two or four sided tension rack. Place the rack in the FasTrack. Press the dual safety switches to close the upward pointing row of tension fingers. If one or both of the safety switches is released before the jaws close, the jaws with reverse direction to the open position. If both safety switches are pressed until the jaws close to the the desired position, the jaws will stay in the closed position until they are released by the operator. While the row of tension fingers is closed, the operator can use both hands to position parts on the tension fingers. After a row of tension fingers has been loaded with parts, the operator releases the jaws to the open position, rotates the rack to a new set of tension fingers and repeats the racking process until all the rows of tension fingers have been loaded. After the rack is completely loaded, the rack is lifted from the machine and a empty rack is loaded. Unracking Position the loaded rack above the jaws in the unracking position. Press the dual safety switches to close the downward pointing row of tension fingers. If one or both of the safety switches is released before the jaws close, the jaws with reverse direction to the open position. If both safety switches are pressed until the jaws close to the the desired position, the jaws will stay in the closed position until they are released by the operator. When the jaws close, the parts will fall downward from the tips of the tension fingers for collection. After parts have been released from one row of tension fingers, the operator releases the jaws to the open position, repositions the rack to a new set of tension fingers with parts and repeats the unracking process until all the rows of tension fingers have been cleared of parts. The process is then repeated with the next rack.
FasTrack racking machines dramatically increase small part racking and unracking efficiency, while decreasing operator workload. Dual Safety Air Switches Dual safety air switches keep the operator's hands away from moving parts while the FasTrack is cycled. Configuration Changeover Without Tools FasTrack racking machines can be changed between the racking and unracking configuration change over without tools Limiting the Rack Closure when Racking and Unracking Operators can adjust the racking jaw closure, during racking and unracking, to minimize stress and wear on the rack tension fingers. Heavy Duty Construction The heavy duty construction and components, used on the air powered FasTrack, ensures reliable performance and proven durability. No Rack Marks when Unracking Internal scratch marks, caused by manually pulling parts off tension fingers, are eliminated when the FasTrack squeezes the tension fingers, during unracking, and the parts are allowed to drop freely from the rack. Racks Can Be Rotated in the Machine When using two or four sided racks, the rack can be rotated in the machine as parts are positioned on each row of tension fingers. This important feature improves ranking efficiency and reduces operator workload. No Electrical Connection Needed Air powered FasTrack racking machines do not require any electrical power supply. Can be Used Anywhere in Your Plant Air powered FasTrack racking machines can be positioned (and repositioned, if needed) in the plant quickly and easily, and only requires a compressed air supply for operation. Height of Pins to be Racked is Adjustable The height of the rack can be adjusted to expose the optimal amount of contact between the part and the tension fingers. Easy to Operate FasTrack racking machines are very easy to operate with initial operator training taking just a few minutes. Racking and Unracking on the Same Machine The FasTrack can be used to automate racking and unracking small parts. Changeover between functions is exceptionally quick and easy. Fast Return on Investment Dramatically increased racking and unracking speed and efficiency, eliminating internal scratch marks and carpal tunnel liability ensure a quick return on your investment. Available for racks with 24, 36, 48 and 54 Inches of Pins Four standard air powered FasTrack machine sizes are available. Custom size machines can be quoted if requested.
The air powered FasTrack should never be operated if the dual safety switch interlock is not properly functioning or if it has been disabled. It is the equipment owners sole responsibility to ensure that the dual safety switch interlock is functioning correctly whenever the FasTrack is in operation, and that all employees have been trained on all safety related equipment and operation issues.Capabilities
